Coffee Server: Insulated + 100% Stainless Steel

Glass coffee servers break; coated ones scuff and peel; enamel ones chip and scratch. So what’s the best material for a coffee server? In my view, double-wall stainless steel is timeless and extremely durable and practical — and with the right design, it can be beautiful as well.
Some of the best coffee servers on the market suffer from one major issue: overcomplexity in the lid design results in residual coffee hidden in nooks and crevices that is quite difficult to clean and, over time, develops an odor that taints your coffee drinking experience.
The usage of plastic in coffee servers exacerbates this problem, as plastic is porous and can absorb smells. Plastic is also not truly dishwasher safe (not only does it release microplastics — dishwashing actively weakens and harms plastic products due to the high temperatures and extremely alkaline detergents used), which means it’s up to you to try to get all that residual coffee out by handwashing, which is definitely not easy.
This simple design makes one critical assumption: that it’s more important that this product is easily cleaned (either via handwashing or in the dishwasher) than that it is fully watertight when closed. As such, when the lid is screwed closed, coffee can still freely come out of the spout.
This product:
- Is designed to last a lifetime
- Uses zero plastic or coatings of any kind
- Is fully dishwasher safe
- Keeps coffee hot or cold for extended periods of time
- Is compatible with pour-over coffee cones such as the Hario V60
- Has a sleek and modern design
If you want to bring a large amount of coffee on the go — this is a very particular use case that merits its own unique design solution. This design is meant to shine in typical coffee serving scenarios, when it is being served immediately after being brewed, and also being enjoyed for a limited period after that.
